Firefighters battled a smoky two-alarm fire at Somerset Collection mall in Troy Monday afternoon.
Fire officials told WXYZ.com that the fire started in the kitchen of the Capital Grille restaurant and spread through the ventilation system.
At least two businesses were damaged.
